This HYDE version is used as input for the 2022 Global Carbon Budget estimate, version hyde32_MapBiomas_v12
Major updates:
• Use of different remote sensing imagery (MODIS) and statistics (MapBiomas) for Brazil for the 1985-2020 period (MapBiomas c6 version).
• Extension of the database to year 2022
• More input on sub-national level for cropland and grazing land
• netCDF added as output format
This GCB release contains: a Baseline estimate scenario, a Lower estimate scenario and an Upper estimate scenario.
